PVDC (polyvinylidene chloride) coated BOPP film, 20-micron gauge on a 1380 mm web - a lightweight, high-barrier base film engineered for snack food packs where oxygen and odour must be kept out. A thin PVDC deposit on the BOPP surface sharply lowers OTR and scavenges product aromas, so fried, nut, coffee and savoury snacks retain flavour and crunch throughout the printed shelf life, while the BOPP backbone keeps water vapour transmission low for crisp foods. The 20-micron gauge is thin enough to save material against heavier metallised or EVOH laminates and still meets the seal and delamination strength that pouch lines and horizontal VFFS machines demand. The 1380 mm width fills standard multilane VFFS and flow-wrap formats without slitting. Wound on 3-inch or 6-inch paper cores, shrink-wrapped and packed on wooden pallets.
