Soft-touch matte BOPP (biaxially-oriented polypropylene) film, 28-micron gauge on a wide 1860 mm web - a dull-finish, high-clarity overwrap engineered for hardback book jackets, textbook covers and premium box-lamination where a velvet-like surface and excellent print hold-up matter. The matte surface scatters light to suppress fingerprints and handling gloss while still passing ink and aqueous coatings with strong adhesion, so CMYK + Pantone artwork reproduces rich, with sharp registration on gravure, flexo and offset. Light yet puncture-resistant, the gauge balances cover feel, lamination durability and material cost for high-volume publishing and school-textbook runs, and the 1860 mm width feeds full-size BOPP jacket-making and sheeting machines without slitting.
