Polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) coated biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film, 30-micron gauge on a 1190 mm web, supplied for cheese-wrapping and high-barrier food-packaging convertors. The PVDC overcoat delivers an excellent oxygen and moisture vapour barrier on a low-cost BOPP substrate, protecting sliced, block and grated cheese while retaining flexibility and a clean printed surface for brand graphics. The 30-micron structure is balanced for heat-seal integrity and easy unwinding on automatic cheese-banding and roll-wrapping equipment, with good pinhole resistance and clarity.
