Cast polypropylene (CPP) film, 38-micron gauge on a 1120 mm web, supplied as the base layer in multi-layer laminate structures used for flexible packaging, labels, and industrial laminates where a thick, heat-sealable, dimensionally stable carrier is needed. The 38-micron gauge gives the CPP base enough body to act as the sealant and tie layer while still running smoothly on lamination, converting, filling, and heat-seal equipment without excessive nip-set, curl, or set-off. It is clear, flexible, and easily heat-sealed to polyethylene, BOPP, and other compatible tie resins, so it can be the inner or tie-side layer in paper-plastic, all-plastic, and metalized laminates that are used for retail and institutional packaging, shrink sleeves, labels, and protective over-laminates. At 38 microns, the cast film offers good puncture cushioning, low moisture sensitivity, and flat web handling. Supplied on 3-inch and 6-inch paper cores, wrapped and loaded on wooden pallets.
