A PVDC-coated BOPP film from Anhui Eastern Communication Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd. (AEC GROUP), a manufacturer and trader based in Hefei, Anhui, China, produced to 32 microns with an 850 mm unwind width for cheese-wrapping and high-oxygen barrier food applications. The polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) coating provides the oxygen and aroma barrier that fresh, semi-hard and sliced cheeses require to retain flavour and avoid off-odour migration, while the BOPP carrier keeps the structure stiff enough for high-speed flow-wrap, overwrap and vacuum-skin machines and contributes moisture resistance and printability. At 32 microns the film offers the right balance of barrier, sealability and cost for individual cheese portions, tray lids, deli-cut overwraps and pre-sliced cheese pack films, with a clean seal window that accepts hot-melt, ultrasonic or impulse sealing. The 850 mm width covers mainstream cheese pack and portioning formats used by dairy converters. Supplied on 3" and 6" paper cores, wrapped and loaded on wooden pallets for export.
