Metallized BOPP film, 29 microns with 1480 mm web width, produced for coffee stand-up and pillow bags that demand a strong moisture and aroma barrier together with an attractive metallic appearance. A vacuum-deposited aluminium layer on a biaxially-oriented polypropylene carrier gives high light reflectance, low water-vapour transmission and good heat-seal reliability so roasted-coffee packs stay fresh through retail display and shipping. The film tracks steadily on flexo and rotogravure lines for brand-printed overwrap and converts cleanly into gusseted, spout and degassing-valve pouch formats.
