POF polyolefin shrink film 25 mic by Anhui Eastern Communication Imp.& Exp. Co., Ltd. (AEC GROUP), Hefei, China. A mono-layer LLDPE-based polyolefin shrink film engineered for high-speed tray, multipack and blister heat-shrink packaging in food, beverage, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals. The 23-27 mic gauge delivers fast, tight shrink at moderate temperatures with minimal tunnel dwell, giving converters a sharp, tight fit around rigid trays, PET bottle multipacks, paper-board cartons, cosmetics and gift bundles. The film holds low haze and high gloss, resists cracking and stone-chipping on hard corners, and keeps a balanced transverse-to-longitudinal shrink ratio so packages shrink square without warping or excessive force on the tunnel drive. Both corona- and chemical-treatment options are available for converters who print the shrink sleeve, though POF is most often supplied clear.
