AEC GROUP offers 40-micron matte BOPP unprinted label stock as a durable, water-resistant substrate for gravure and flexo wrap-around and sleeve labels on beverage, liquor, shampoo, body-wash and cosmetic bottles where a soft, non-gloss premium finish is required. The controlled micro-matte surface suppresses specular glare under retail LED, pharmacy and bathroom lighting so ink colours, brand typography, bilingual ingredient and nutrition text and regulatory barcodes read with even contrast across the bottle shoulder and curve, while the low-gloss skin hides the lay-lines, machine marks and minor handling scuffs that mar a high-gloss BOPP label on fast moving consumer goods lines and give a finished pack a cheaper, less controlled look. The 40-micron BOPP gauge gives the dimensional stability, moisture barrier and puncture resistance PP brings to continuous high-speed labelling, hot-melt and solvent gluing and heat-shrinking on round, oval and contour PET, HDPE and glass containers, with a smooth, low-ink-pick surface that holds fine detail and solid tint without set-off or drying faults, and the film runs flat on rotogravure and flexo plates without static curl or web-tearing. Widths 500 mm to 1800 mm; supplied on 3" and 6" paper cores, shrink-wrapped and exported on wooden pallets.
