CPP cast polypropylene film 30 mic by Anhui Eastern Communication Imp.& Exp. Co., Ltd. (AEC GROUP), Hefei, China. A heavy-gauge cast polypropylene (CPP) heat-seal layer in the 28-30 mic range developed for high-barrier food and beverage laminates, most notably coffee, instant-noodle and pet-food pouches. The thicker CPP gauge raises seal strength, hot-fill resistance and seal-burst performance while keeping heat-seal initiation in the range converters expect from a conventional CPP tie layer. The film retains CPP's characteristic clarity, gloss and aroma-protecting moisture barrier and is supplied as the outer sealant in co-extrusion and multi-layer lamination to BOPP, PET, aluminum foil or EVOH. Both faces corona-treated by default; the seal-side can be upgraded with PE-AC, ionomer or metallocene-acrylic treatment for higher seal-strength, lower seal-initiation and cleaner burst on high-speed VFFS and HFFS. Typical applications include coffee and tea pouches, soup and retort pouch sealant, snack bag heat-seal layer and dairy packaging.
