Metallized BOPP film, 23 microns at 1750 mm web width, supplied for printed snack, chip and nut pouches where a bright metallic look, good oil resistance and dependable seal performance are required on high-output vertical and horizontal machines. A thin aluminium layer is vacuum-deposited onto a biaxially-oriented polypropylene base to give high opacity, a low-gloss mirror finish and reliable heat-seal strength so flavour and freshness are retained during shelf life. The 1750 mm roll width feeds wide-web rotogravure and flexo units for full-colour brand graphics and converts easily into stand-up, doypack and three-side-seal formats.
